"The ability to quote is a serviceable substitute for wit."
– W. Somerset Maugham
What follows on this page is a list of links to arguments that help explain the position of the Software Liberation Front, both hosted here on this website and elsewhere. The first list of links will be for internal essays and arguments, here on this website. The second list will be for external essays and arguments that so closely match our own feelings on the subject they address that there's little point in rewriting such arguments from scratch.
Please contribute arguments of your own for display at the Software Liberation Front website, or URLs for arguments elsewhere, if you have something to contribute. All submissions of original content must be in your legal power to distribute as you see fit, and if published here will be distributed under terms of the CCD CopyWrite license, unless you make specific arrangements with us to license it differently. Be forewarned that we do not have a formal acceptance and editing process in place at this time, and your submissions are subject to our whims in terms of both editing and acceptance power on our part. Our intent will never be to substantially (or even substantively) alter your words or their intent.
Submissions for arguments to be hosted onsite should at this time be sent to us via our Contact Page.
